are requested for all sessions This weekend is hosted by the Lubavitch community of Crown Heights, NY, center of the worldwide Chabad-Lubavitch movement. Early Registration Deadline: February 18 Registration Deadline: February 22 Cancellation Deadline: February 23 ACCOMMODATIONS Home Hospitality is included with a neighborhood family and is guaranteed to Shabbat guests registered prior to the Tuesday before the Shabbaton. Hotel accommodations are available at an additional charge. Call the Shabbaton information line, 718-953-1039 for a list of available hotels. REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT OPTIONS Online registration is available only to those paying by credit card. To pay by check, please call registration coordinator Faygie Benjaminson at the telephone number and times written below, and choose from one of the following options: • Register by February 18. Your check must be received no later than February 22. • Provide a credit card number to be exchanged by a check at the Friday afternoon registration before the Shabbaton. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: • ALL registrants for Shabbat, whether registering online or arranging their own accommodations, MUST speak to our Registration and Housing Coordinator, Faygie Benjaminson, by the Tuesday prior to the Shabbaton. This discount is not available for couples or students. Cancellation and Refund Policy $25 of the fee for those registering for the entire weekend or Shabbat is non-refundable. The remaining balance is refundable to those who cancel by May 21, the Wednesday before the Shabbaton. Other Shabbaton Information The Friday night meal is eaten with your host, and the remaining meals together at the Shabbaton. | VENUES, DIRECTIONS and TRANSPORTATION VENUES AND DIRECTIONS All weekend events are located in Crown Heights. Additional venues will be posted soon. Note that venues are subject to change. Please check back again a few days before the Shabbaton or consult the program schedule given out at the weekend. Levi Yitzchok Library - Registration and Friday Mincha The Levy Yitzchok Library is located at 305 Kingston Ave. between Eastern Pkwy and Union St. On Friday afternoon, street parking is available on Kingston Ave or nearby streets. With public transportation, take the #3 train to Kingston Avenue, exit the station using the stairs on the left, cross over the service road, and walk 1/2 block up Kingston Avenue. The entrance is on the left. The Kollel - Friday Afternoon Lecture The Friday afternoon lecture is located at the Kollel, upstairs from the Levi Yitzchok Library located at 305 Kingston Ave. Follow the same directions for the library and look for the signs marking the door to the Kollel. If you have trouble locating the door to the Kollel, come downstairs to the library where registration is located and we will direct you to the Kollel. Oholei Menachem - Shabbat Day, Shalosh Seudah, Melava Malka, and Sunday Brunch Oholei Menachem is located at 667 Eastern Parkway near the corner of Brooklyn Avenue. On Shabbat, please ask your host for directions, consult the map you will receive at registration, or follow our verbal directions. If you are coming for the Melave Malka or Sunday brunch and lecture, street parking is available or take the #3 train to Kingston Avenue, exit using the stairs on the right, continue walking straight ahead for one block to Brooklyn Ave, cross Brooklyn Avenue and Eastern Pkwy. Walk 1/4 block down Eastern Parkway, continuing in the direction away from the train station. Oholei Menachem is the large building on the right. Walk up the stairs into the main entrance. TRANSPORTATION Car Use any online service for driving directions (Mapquest, Yahoo, etc), using 305 Kingston Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11213.
